The CyberMed NB series is the ultimate solution for all your medical cart problems. Although it's designed to super-power non-powered carts, it's also a perfect fit for powered ones due to multiple sizes and power options.
Medical powered carts are extremely popular in all healthcare applications and are used everywhere in hospitals and medical practices, but come with some drawbacks:
Abandon expensive, heavy, and restrictive powered carts with this medical cart PC when you opt for a non-powered, affordable medical cart and a battery-powered computer to power the cart and peripherals.
Your staff can take advantage of the complete freedom in movement, since there's no need to plug the CyberMed NB Series in, but that's not all. You can also choose from four different models, distinguished by size, number of batteries, and run time.
The CyberMed NB22 and NB24 are 22" and 24" respectively. They have three hot swappable batteries that allow them to work for up to 21 hours on a single charge.
The CyberMed NB19 and NB20, as the names indicate, are also 19" and 20". These two only have two hot swappable batteries but are still able to operate for a striking 14 hours total on a single charge.
We had worked with Cybernet before on our North Tower project, which was a huge success. Based on that relationship, it was really easy to put our trust in Cybernet for our cart project and anesthesia project. We couldn't be happier with the early results.

One of the biggest fears people have is spilling liquids on computers. It's a well-known fact that technology can't withstand fluids. That poses a major inconvenience for hospitals since fluids can accidentally get sprayed on computers and disinfection is frequently required.
We manufactured this series with that in mind. Rated IP65 to withstand water jets sprayed directly on the screen and tested against the harshest chemical cleaners used in hospitals.
For some hospitals, a computer on a cart is enough, but those hospitals are few and far in between.
Most hospitals need additional tools and equipment on the cart. Things like printers, fingerprint scanners, barcode scanners, and more are usually connected to the cart's battery.
The CyberMed NB Series includes a DC power out option, which allows you to power your peripherals straight from the computer.
One of the secrets why this series is long-lasting and requires close to no maintenance is fanless cooling technology.
They're designed to consume less power thanks to heatsink, which is a passive heat exchanger to dissipate the heat. This combination allows this series to run cool without sucking in dust and debris, and also eliminates moving parts. We perfected this technology to provide you with a more reliable computer that can last a lot longer.

The idea behind a medical cart is the flexibility of movement. This means one of the most important variables.attributes is weight. The lighter the cart, the easier it is to use and maneuver. Runtime is another important factor. If the cart needs to be plugged in often, it can't provide much mobility.
Some medical carts have their own batteries but these tend to be extremely heavy and costly to replace when they break. Not to mention, sometimes replacing cart batteries requires disassembly of parts or removing plastic pieces to access the battery.
A good option is to have a battery-powered computer with hot swappable batteries so you don't need a cart battery or have to plug the whole cart in. The computer is also capable of powering most of the peripherals on the cart.
This usually makes for a more mobile and convenient cart, and surprisingly it's the more economical option since carts with batteries are usually expensive upfront and expensive to maintain. A hot swappable battery computer on a non-powered cart is capable of running 24/7 more efficiently, is less costly, and with lighter weight for users to maneuver.
Hot swappable batteries simply means you can replace the batteries while the computer is operating. No need to turn it off or interrupt what you're working on, so that the computer can continue monitoring patients and running its applications as usual.
With up to three batteries, they can be removed and placed in a standalone charging dock, allowing the user to cycle between the batteries to keep the computer running at all times as long as at least one battery remains in the computer.
We can't speak for everyone, but for the CyberMed NB Series, we made sure that doesn't happen. The back of the unit has battery doors with a strong magnetic latch to ensure secure closure even while transporting the cart through uneven flooring or transitioning into an elevator.
The magnetic mechanism is strong enough that it won't be open without human interference but also easy enough for users to operate.
Imprivata certified allowing users to sign in securely with an RFID card or other options.
Compatible with healthcare grade gloves to provide the best user experience and seamless interaction with the computer.
Built into the housing so it lasts the life of the computer to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration.
Able to be sprayed with harsh chemicals and disinfected regularly without concerns.
Users can change the batteries when needed. The computer never needs to connect to a power source.
Allow users to charge batteries separately from the computer and swap the batteries when needed.
Power peripherals directly from the computer while maintaining complete freedom of movement. The computer itself can be the battery for the whole cart.
This means the computer doesn't kick up dust or suck it in, has no moving part which gives it a longer life, and operates quietly so it doesn't disturb sleeping patients.
Also available in 4k resolution and is capable of connecting to speakers or utilizing its 2-channel internal speakers for alerts and sounds.
