Cybernet Releases 10 New Medical Monitors

Irvine, CA 7/15/2019 – Cybernet Manufacturing is excited to announce the release of 10 new medical grade monitors that will improve patient safety and streamline workflows. The monitors range in size from 19” to 24” and all have antimicrobial* casing to protect the monitor from degradation or deterioration and are IEC/UL 60601-1 certified for near patient use. The new Cybernet medical monitors come in three distinct families of monitors.

The XB series of medical monitors are powered by hot swap batteries rather than traditional AC power. As one battery runs out, you can simply swap it out for a fully charged battery without needing to power down the unit, leading to a potential 24 hour uptime. What makes these monitors such a breakthrough, however, is the fact that they have an optional dual DC out function, meaning they can power two different devices at once. Pair these monitors with a non-powered cart and the monitor itself can then power a thin client PC and a Zebra scanner.

Cybernet is also releasing two 24” 4k monitors that are designed specifically for surgical and diagnostic imaging use. Users will have the option between a hot swap battery powered version or one that is powered by a traditional outlet. These two monitors have 8MP resolution that offer picture clarity far greater than a standard consumer grade monitor.

The last group of monitors are the PX series of medical monitors. These are high resolution medical monitors that use traditional AC power, and can be customized with touch screen capability, embedded privacy filters and anti-glare technology.

“In talking with our customers and partners we realized that there was a dearth of medical grade monitor options out there,” said Ali Bagheri, VP of Global Operations at Cybernet. “As the pioneer in medical grade all in one computers, we felt we were well positioned to solve this problem. It was a natural step to create these medical monitors and we feel that they are capable not just of handling current healthcare processes, but also will make HIT and project managers rethink what is possible.”

All of Cybernet’s medical grade monitors are assembled in their ISO 13485:2016 certified facility and are supported and serviced out of facilities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Australia.
