The iPC M12 was created for the types of conditions typically found in manufacturing and industrial environments. The aluminum chassis makes this much more durable than a typical PC, but beyond that it has been rated for extreme temperatures and humidity. The iPC M12 can withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 50°C (122°F). It has also been tested at 10%-90% humidity.
Beyond that the unit is fanless and IP65 rated, preventing harmful particles like dust and liquid from penetrating the chassis and damaging components.
Despite its small footprint, the iPC M12 is the perfect fit for a number of industrial applications. Manufacturing and distribution facilities are typically large, expansive areas with limited access to AC power.
